Description
Wheel Balancing Mandrel JONES - SHIPMAN to suit taper flanges
Model 540
Model 1400
The arbor used for balancing a grinding wheel (often called a balancing pin or mandrel) is a high-precision, ground steel cylinder employed to perform static balancing of the grinding wheel away from the machine.
This component allows the flange-and-wheel assembly to be mounted and placed onto a dedicated balancing stand (equipped with either knife-edges or rollers) in order to identify the heaviest point, which can then be corrected using the counterweights on the flange.
